Sunday Workout Report (Amitabhu Edition)

Shoveled the walk for about half an hour, which I'd certainly call a workout, and then watched Shaolin Wheel of Life and the 'making of' documentary, Enter the Shaolin, which included footage of them auditioning monks and talking to the abbot at the actual temple. I haven't met any Shaolin monks personally, but Sifu Jung's instructor is one, and from what I've heard, the monks at the temple are exactly as I would expect. :)

Anyway, about those numbers...

Rows: 3 mins @ 55 lbs (warmup)
Seated Lat Rows: 1 set 10 reps @ 35 lbs
Flat Barbell Bench Press: 1 set 10 reps @ 80 lbs (this went up from last week; I'm only 5 more increments away from maxing out the Bowflex on this exercise 0.o)
Bench Press: 1 set 10 reps @ 60 lbs
Seated Resisted Oblique Crunch: 3 sets 10 reps @ 30 lbs
Cross Triceps Extension: 1 set 10 reps @ 30 lbs
Triceps Pushdown: 1 set 10 reps @ 45 lbs
Narrow Pulldowns: 1 set 10 reps @ 55 lbs
Resisted Punch: 3 sets 10 reps @ 30 lbs
Rear Deltoid Row: 1 set 10 reps @ 40 lbs
Deadlift: 1 set 10 reps @ 35 lbs (this will go up next week)
Military Press: 2 sets 10 reps @ 25 lbs
Leg Press: 2 sets 10 reps @ 105 lbs (this is maxed out)
Mabu / Horse Stance: 2 painful minutes 0.o
Rows: 3 mins @ 35 lbs (cooldown)

Body Weight: 297 (wheel of morality, turn turn turn, what's Gneech's weight today, let us learn)

Watching Wheel of Life always reminds me of how much I love Kung Fu. I really want to get into good enough shape to go back and feel good about it.

Unfortunately, I pulled something between my shoulderblades during the military press. I'll take some Advil and rest it tonight and tomorrow; hopefully by my Tuesday workout it'll be all right again. Probably the combination of shoveling snow and doing the Bowflex was just too much for it.
