I need to start actually getting some stuff done this week ... yesterday and Monday were pretty much exercises in vegetation for me once I left work. Today I had more energy in the morning at least, and hope to recapture some in the evening, except I've got to go to the store on the way home. Bleah. I've got a to-do list as long as my arm, and some of the stuff on it was due Sunday night.
I think I can pretty much rule out MFF after all, which makes me quite sad. Every time I go to a con, my art improves, my energy level goes up, and I move up another rung on the "get where I wanna be" ladder. But life is an exercise in possibilities, and MFF seems to be leaving that realm for me. Don't know when the next one will be ... it just depends on what happens with merchandise at Dragon*Con, and how soon after moving I can find a job back in the $35k+ range. But I'll be surprised to get to another con before next AC.
On a brighter note, however, Scott's "Tiffarella" project is running like gangbusters. So far, every one he's sent me has been better than the previous one. I'm really enjoying seeing my characters through an outsider's viewpoint for a change, too. Gives me some interesting food for thought. :)
Well, that's all for now. I'd say that duty calls, except it's not so much calling as just sorta sitting in the corner and sulking until I pay attention to it.
