Much as I enjoyed it, tho, I'm very glad to be home. And for that matter, I'm very glad to have the year's cons done and out of the way. This year I've felt almost like was a marathon run at full gallop, and I am finally across the finish and can collapse with a *thud* -- at least as far as cons are concerned. I don't plan to go to MFF, and so only a few possible (and much more low-key) visits to/from family or friends are in the offing until Further Confusion in January. (Good thing too, 'cause I am completely out of off-time from work now, and in fact unless I put in four hours tomorrow, I'll be into the negative.)
So now it's time to ease back a little on the race to get Product X ready for the next con, and put the focus back into just keeping the strips chugging along happily and making some progress on the writing. I have a backlog of projects that I owe various people, most of which I expected to finish in July, and here it's September. D'Oh! Time to clear the logjam.
But now ... sleep good.
Big, big thanks and shout-outs to everybody who made it a terrific con for me -- which is just about everybody I can think of who was there and might be reading this LJ. ;) You all rule!
