So. There's a giant floating hexagon hovering over Saturn's north pole that could fit four Earths inside of it.

Who would have guessed
In the 70's all Sci fi shows were not Sci fi unless something in it was hexagonal. That was the look of the time and here it is again!

I still remember The Andromeda Strain and the soundtrack that went with it.

The record, itself, was a hexagon.
