Dads, Cats, and Lots of Doctors

X-rays and blood tests confirm my dad does have both pneumonia and a pair of lower digestive infections, and so is on the proper meds for all of them, as well as tranquilizers which have left him knocked out all day, apparently. We'll be going over there after work to give my mom a break on sitting vigil so she can go eat.

Buddha has an appointment with a vet tomorrow night for a more comprehensive examination and to get more meds for his eye.

I have found a doctor for myself (only been meaning to do that for four years now) and have an appointment next week for a 37,000-mile checkup and to talk about possible allergy treatments.

I don't like the menacingly medical tone events have been taking lately.

Here's hoping that your dad is on the mend, that Buddha isn't too badly broken, and that your allergies can be treated without causing pain or misery!

Just keep these things in mind; your dad is ancient, he's older than dirt, so it's amazing he's doing as well as he is; you didn't have to take Buddha on, that he came to you sick is just coincidence; we all need that check up, before we get really sick ourselves.

So all this medical stuff is just life as it is. Besides, haven't you ever heard of the rule of three? Everything comes in threes. So it's no surprise to me there are three doc things happening at once.

Try to take it easy. Sometimes, you do to much (to the amazement of this puppy sometimes, even). You've got an incredible support system under you. (hee) -Frisk

Again, good luck with your dad's recovery.

Maybe kitty will get a temporary eye patch and he can be a Budd-caneer.

Also good luck with the doctor visit.
