You probably know who Eugene Pallette is, even if you don't know you know. His most famous role was Friar Tuck in The Adventures of Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn, but he was in a bazillion movies in the '30s and '40s, including My Man Godfrey. He was squat, rotund, absolutely charming, and had a voice like a frog. And now, I have a voice like him.
One interesting thing is that if I do my best tonyringtail impression, I sound remarkably like The Godfather. I'm gonna be going around all day telling people to fuhgeddaboudit, and that it hurts me, deeply, right here, that they never come around to see the family any more.
Tony: Luv ya babe, don't ever change. =) Although that's a different voice. ;)
Anyway, I'm feeling good today, as you can probably tell. :) Last night's Enforced Nothing, followed by a good sleep and a trip to Starbucks this morning have all conspired to fill me with pep. Too bad it's wasted on my job, but you can't have everything. ;) I'm hoping that among other things, this will light some creative sparks. If nothing else, I want to write a more cheery Fictionlet soon so that people don't get all morose brooding on Greg's parents, although I probably won't post it 'til tomorrow even if I do.
