The Hazards of Working From Home

Me: "Okay, I need to get up and go over to the computer now."

Buddha: "Not so fast, bucko!" *curls up in lap and purrs*

Me: "Trapped! Oh noes! I can't go over to the computer!"

Buddha: *evil laugh*

Me: "NOOOOOoooooooo!"

Work: *totally doesn't get done*

Riley likes to do that to me. He wouldn't get away with it if he weren't cute.

Nothing says a fox can't do that. You think we don't like to be comfortable???

The purring might be a stretch, but I'm sure there's an equivalent happy-noise.

At this rate, we're gonna end up on a commercial for "TOO HOT FOR TV! FURS GONE WILD!"

Trinsic works from home as well ;) While he waits for his computer programming stuff to compile, he'll relax on the couch...

Until the dog pounces on him! XD

You're lucky, all your cat does it curl up on your lap. My dog Sonja used to wait till I was at the computer, then she'd lift up my arm with her nose, and if I didn't pay attention, she'd reach up and start hitting the keyboard with a paw. *laughs* If you ever got a text message that was a garble at the end, it was probably her sending it.

Just more proof that cats are not productive...

[I'm probably gonna so pay for that later... but it was worth it!]

Feline pet keeping you from working? You need.. "Port-A-Cat"®

"Port-A-Cat"® is a flexible lap device which allows you to work freely, unencumbered by cats who appropriate your lap unexpectedly. Just slip on "Port-A-Cat"® whenever your mewing marauder tries a hostile takeover of your body. The moment you stand up, the automatic flexible carrier scoops the supine squatter up into a convenient travel position allowing freedom of movement for you. It couldn't be easier!

Try "Port-A-Cat"® absolutely free by calling 1-800-PORTACAT. Do it right away before outraged, hostile, angry cat owners (most of whom, believe it or not, enjoy having their cats takeover their laps and regard our product as an outrageous sacrilege and a blasphemous insult) burn our factory to the ground. Which might be any time now.

Neko-ness!
Didn't you know that cats will gravitate and bother the busiest person? ^_~

Re: Neko-ness!
Not to mention the one most allergic to cats. Why do you think Buddha chose to hang about outside of Gneech's house? So now he has the best of both worlds: a busy lion that loves to give pettins, and a lion who's deathly allergic to cats.

Have the best

Oh Noes! You have 'cat in lap' syndrome! The weighted companion cat is your friend and wants to help keep you from exerting yourself.
