I loved that show. It was like SNL for kids. It was one of the better Nick shows before the network went all squirrely.

I used to watch that show faithfully, from it's every early days till damn near the end. It was the bestest! -Frisk

Used to watch it when I visited my dad during the Summer or Winter breaks. Then again, they also had "City of Gold", which was a cool show as well.

YCDTOTV was quite good. It had many similarities to Laugh In including some of the music, and in the first season (which wasn't seen in the US and seems to be pretty much lost, alas) Ruth Buzzi.

The really interesting thing is that it worked far, far better than the depressingly bad attempt around the same time to make a new version of Laugh In.

I also saw a few episodes of the YCDTOTV clone, Don't Look Now (it aired on PBS and we didn't have cable) which while not outright bad, had a feeling of "almost" about it. Perhaps that was because I had seen YCDTOTV and DLN only lasted a few episodes, so the cast never had a chance to really work things out over time.

Now that I think of it, having the "Locker wall" or a Barth's skit at AC or something would be rather fun. I was a faithful viewer too and wish that kind of show were available today.

Ageis J. Hyena, signing off, over and out.

Make it an Elevator instead of a Locker Wall, and you'll fit in perfectly with AC. ;)

Makes it easy since you can have folks talking in front of the elevator doors, and then when the doors open as well.

I always enjoyed the South American General Firing Squad skit myself. Then again, it was probably the fact that it reminded me a lot of Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck when they'd have Elmer chasing them.
