When the room closed at six, we had an army of volunteers who packed up the table, loaded it into various waiting cars and SUVs, and trucked it over to mammallamadevil's house in record time. Big props go out to Sirfox and Waarhorse particularly, who were absolute troopers and schlepped stuff for no more compelling reason than friendship.
Then it was out with a party of various cool folks to a very nice dinner at "Original Joe's," where I spent the last of my cash on some very yummy chicken livers of which I could only eat half and was very sad to see the other half go. ("Goodbye, chicken livers! I love you!") From there, we gathered in the lobby bar and had a fun evening of art-jamming, Dr. Who-geeking, and pure silliness. Those are usually the best parts of the con, when the work-work-work part is over and we all turn to play-play-play. Much of the art that comes out of these silly moments is not-quite-ready for prime time, so to speak, but we all have so much fun with it that it just fires you up to do more.
Anyway, it's now 1:00 a.m. local time, which makes it 4:00 a.m. my time, which means I should SRSLY be in bed now. Which I'm just about to remedy.
Good night, world, and have an awesome tomorrow. :)
