On the artistic front, my output at this con was something of a mixed bag. Some of the pieces I did, I felt were quite good given the venue, but I still have a tendency to be very rough and sketchy. Everyone who got some art seemed pleased with it, however, which of course I was glad to see. I also had a lot of people whom I'd rarely or never spoken to come up and tell me how much they enjoyed SJ and wish me luck on getting back on schedule. As I told them, the good news on that front is that the big project I've been working so hard on for the past few months finally got turned in (at least for the initial round) this past week, so hopefully that will free up my mental bandwidth (and my weekends!) for some creative work again.
There was also some progress re: NeverNever, which sorely needs attention. Most of my projects have basically been "on hold" since Further Confusion, so there wasn't that much new for me to cover with my co-conspirators, but it was still good to touch base and make sure we were all on the same page.
And now, back to work. Alas! But let's hope for a nice con bounce. :) Productivity would be a nice change. ;)
