Greetings From Windows 7!

Update nice and smooth so far. Gonna take me a while to learn the new widgets.

I've been using the Windows 7 release candidate for a few months now, it's shiny. Had some driver issues at first though, but third parties are starting to release drivers that support it now.

Other than that I've had no real issues.

I have been running 7 64bit since the beta. Installed on a partition so the computer is now Dual Boot vista/win 7 and the laptop is 32bit xp/win7 dual boot. Noticeable speed improvement on the desktop 64bit version. some older programs wont run, but I think that is more a matter of it being 64bit then 32 bit. Overall I love win 7 and will be installing the final product in a few weeks.

Just upgraded this week. I'm pretty impressed as well. This OS really stays out of your way, though I'm still figuring out how to customize it a bit better.

I wonder if I should dare try it from within Parallels...

Kerry has a parallel OS, but I'm not sure which version of Windows it is (on her Mac Book Pro).

Post how Windows 7 works for you. I've heard good things from a guy I know who Beta tested it and liked it far better than Vista.

He told me it's like the best of XP with the features Vista should have had.
