Where'd I Leave the Midnight Oil?

Well, yes, it's super-late, but I've been getting a lot done. Rereading SJ from 10 years ago is a surreal out-of-body experience of a way to spend the evening. So much of myself was poured into it, even tho all the names, events, and facts got tossed into a blender and came out looking completely scrambled on the other side. I really did put Tiff, Leonard, Conrad, Leona et al. through some gut-punches, didn't I? No wonder they wanted to call it quits! Now that I've gotten through all that stuff and come out relatively happy and sane on the other side, looking at it from a distance is like becoming reacquainted with an old, close friend from whom you've suffered a long estrangement.

...which probably only makes sense if you're sleep-deprived, and maybe not even then. But it's still true!

In any case, good night, all, and have an awesome tomorrow. :)

Catharsis! Catharsis!

Gott segnen Sie !

In reality I think it's great you've re-read all your work. It's always nice (IMO anyway) to revisit prior work after long periods of time. Things look fresh and there's always a "WTF was I thinking?" moment. But, it can be inspirational as well.

I've done that with my oils, and I end up half the time adding stuff to the canvas to make it "Pop!"

You'll figure out what to do, I'm sure.
