Shame on you, posting while driving! Dangerous Gneech is dangerous!

What are you talking about? Gneech rarely drives. Mrs Gneech does most of the driving :P unless its after 8pm, then he drives cause she's falling asleep.

Well, there's a useful bit of information I didn't know!

Exactly the reason I have a Blackberry. No real keyboard == Fail when you're an email driven person.

Same here! I almost never use my Blackberry for calls. It's e-mail all the way for me. Also helps that I'm technically buying local ;)

Yup, that's why I won't get an iPhone, either. The thing that bugs me about the iPhone's lack of a physical keyboard is that it's given all the other smartphone makers the idea that a virtual keyboard is somehow a feature and not a bug. :P I really hope that smartphones with keyboards don't go the way of trackballs. In my various trips to expos for Mac products and the like, I have seen a wide variety, the most interesting of which was 4iThumbs, which was a plastic overlay with tactile ridges that overlay and map to the keyboard. You would use the keys between the ridges, and it comes off of your iPhone quickly and easily (Though I believe an external case is required).
If you want to make your own, I fished out a full size keyboard mod that requires a bit of soldering.

Though an easy fix is one thing people don't usually catch on to quickly: If you hold your finger on the keyboard instead of tapping, the key you're looking at grows. Slide your finger over if it's the wrong key and release at the correct one.

Yay, geek blurbing.
Blurb is a verb as well as a noun, right..?

I've LJed from my Sony Ericsson W702c.
All you need is an email client.
(I could use the browser, but frankly, that sucks... )

My mind must be going more mushy than I though.
The phone is C702, not W702c.

<3 my HTC Touch pro.. apparently the motorola droid is pretty decent too as well as a few others.. I don't usually use my phone as a "phone", I just want a pocket computer :)
