“There are the things we know,” said Greg, “and the things we don’t know. There are the things we know we know, and the things we don’t know we know. Then there are the things we know we don’t know, and the things we don’t know we don’t know.”

“What are you going on about?” asked Brigid.

“I don’t know,” admitted Greg.

“Well at least you know you don’t know,” said Brigid.

Reminds me of an old proverb:

He who knows not, and knows he knows not, is ignorant. Teach him.
He who knows, and knows not he knows, is asleep. Wake him.
He who knows not, and knows not he knows not, is a fool. Ignore him.
He who knows, and knows that he knows, is a wise man. Follow him.
