All those crazy kids! :D Filmed at Midwest Furfest 2010. Lots of familiar faces.

Stay awesome, furries! :)

Edit: Note that it is not required that you be bald to be a furry. O.o

Don't tell Graveyard Greg that. I don't think he got that memo.

A pretty neat documentary!

Huh,. Uncle Kage's reaction to his anecdote is "These people got no lives!". That's telling...

Just remember that snark is part of the persona. :)

I liked the documentary, but detractors will notice someone behind an interviewee getting tickled and nuzzled, undoubtedly.

Fantastic documentary. I just might have to share it.

And a question for someone closer to the fandom then me. Mostly just to sooth my curiosity.

If I ever went to a con, how much of an issue is my chosen name going to cause me? Thankfully that gross magazine is gone now but still there is the association, even if I did have it WAY before the magazine existed.

I couldn't say, the name doesn't have any unusual significance to me. I don't know what you're referring to re: magazine.

You must have missed or don't remember my rants on it

BUT that someone like you has no clue makes me feel that its not as well known as I've been lead to believe

Ah ... well, looking at the article I see why I never heard of it. Even subcultures have subcultures, and that's one I've remained out of.

I honestly don't know how much if any grief you'd get; most people at cons are pretty good about not delving into weirdness without an invitation, so I wouldn't expect to get a lot of outright objectionable comment, but certainly anybody who's into that particular thing is at least going to wonder if you are too.

You might consider going with a badge name like "FaeKitty" if the issue worries you. But either way I wouldn't let it stop you from going to cons -- they're much fun and really add a lot to the fandom.

Well... it might be awkward, I'll be honest.

But I don't think people will go out of their way to lynch you or anything. but you might have to explain over and over again . So the gneech's advice about getting a Faekitty badge is a thing to consider.

Note that it is not required that you be bald to be a furry.

It isn't? You mean I'm loosing my hair for nothing?

Don't worry, I'm sure people will still be sending you a valentine, birthday greetings, bottle of wine. :}

Ironic that so many furries are loosing their hair..

Embrace your inner cue-ball.

That was a great documentary, quite possibly the most positive one on the subject of the furdom I've seen so far :)
