Car getting was a success; haircut was not quite so. Anna, while perfectly nice, had a problem with English comprehension.
ME: I'd like a taper cut, please, with more body on the top.
ANNA: Oh, you're going to grow it out all over?
ME: Uh ... no...
The net result is that it's too short. Not horrible, Evil Driver's License Picture short, but just sorta uncomfortable, smarmy '80s preppie short. Fortunately, a little time should fix that. :)
As for the car, we are now the proud owners of a 2000 Toyota Camry LE, "champagne" color (sorta the color of wet concrete), a nice all-around commuterey sort of vehicle. That will become Laurie's primary car, while I'll stick with Bruce for my car. The Camry needs a name, now ... I'm leaning towards something Japanese, like "Yoshi" or "Jiro," but I figure it's best to let Laurie do the honors on that score. We went through Carmax, and it was very quick and painless compared to our car-buying experiences in the past.
So tonight, I plan to do some drawing, and maybe do some billiards with Camstone later; no D&D tonight. Let me just put a check in the "Get Anything Accomplished?" column here ... *tic!* ...all right. :) Off I go.
