Bad Hair Month

Wow, she really butchered it, didn't she?

NOTE TO MYSELF: Do not ever go into a hair salon without reference photos again.

Being John Goodman sucks.

Too Much To Do

Okay, Orange Alert is now officially a month late, and it's pissing me off. I don't know where April went, but I feel distinctly robbed. Time to do some prioritizing, if I'm going to have the book ready for AC. This coming weekend, Orange Alert goes out the door. Period. Sleep, gaming, and food are all to go out the window if required. So I'm going to do the following things, in the following order:

I'd consider doing a week or two of guest strips so I would work on the book instead, but I just started "When Wally Met Mikey" and that has a very short window it can fall in and be on the right timeline -- damn 3 strips/week schedule. It makes everything TAKE too long!

Wanna Do Some D&D

Don't wanna bother with things like strategy or plot, mind you ... wanna play a 15th level CN BBN/FTR/RGR with a battle axe in one hand and a handaxe in the other, wading through orcs and gnolls in a crazed battle-fury to get to their cultist leader at the other end of the room and cleave off his diabolical head -- just as the ceremony ends and the balrog is summoned...

That's not so strange, is it?

PS: Fighter/Mage! Feh. What was I thinking?

On the Subject of D&D...

I'd just like to mention here that upgrading my machine to Windows XP made the video in Neverwinter Nights flow beautifully, while game play became unbearably choppy.

On Win98, it was the other way around, which I must say, was a better arrangment.

Le sigh.

Not that Neverwinter Nights was any great shakes of a game, but I could at least play that RGR/BBN/FTR I was talking about earlier...
