Well, I was hoping to get Wednesday's strip drawn tonight, but I didn't quite get it done because I had a sudden inspiration and had to write up a bunch of scripts to send to Vince for approval.
Friday will be the next SJ charity auction cameo ... tahamaki
is up this time! Then, if I can get Wesha's done before AC, the decks will be relatively clear for the one going up to auction there. I still owe one to jadedfox
for Further Confusion, but it is at least from THIS YEAR!
It still amazes me that people shell out the kind of money they do for these things. Not that I object, I just can't imagine having that kind of money to spend on stuff. Every once in a while a piece of Vince's art or a commission from Herbie Bearclaw will go up to auction, and I just make a pitiful squeaking noise as I watch the bids go way out of my reach in a matter of minutes.
If I felt like I had more free time, I'd probably try to take advantage of this by putting up more auctions of my own. Heaven knows I could use the extra income; but I feel "like butter scraped over too much bread" (to coin a phrase) as it is.
Anyway, it's been a productive evening, even if Wednesday didn't
get finished, so I'll be happy with that.
Oh! Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week, I'll be getting the second half of my Macromedia Cold Fusion training -- woohoo! :) So for those of you who see me sometimes during the day, you probably won't on those days. I'll be busy stuffing my brain full of CF scripting goodness. :)
I love training. =^.^=
That's all for now. Catcha later!
