"A Jailed Populace, is a SAFE Populace!"

Ugh, I hate my job sometimes. :P

PS: In case you're wondering, I'm working on a page full of drug war junk, and there's nothing like the drug war to make people advocates of making everything in the universe illegal. Yuck.

katayamma, If You're Out There...

I am too wiped out to draw tonight; I'll color Monday's myself. Thanks anyway, and I hope you have a great time at MFF!

If you're not katayamma, what are you reading this for? Oh well, I hope you have a great time at MFF, too!

So Far It's Nothing But Better!

Laurie and I got through the first disk of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Extended Edition), and so far it's greatly improved over the theatrical release. No big huge WOW changes, just lots of little additions that fill things in and flesh characters out better. At the risk of spoilers Collapse )

The post-exorcism Edoras scenes still drag on a bit, as they did in the theatrical version. In the book The Two Towers, the battle at Helm's Deep is just one chapter early on ... but we got through the first disk and they still haven't had the warg attack on the way there, yet!

Still, as I say, nicely improved. Faramir in particular has a nice bit of dialog where he talks about one of the fallen Easterlings with regret. That noble spirit is what Faramir is supposed to be like!
