No, I have no idea what that subject means either.
Anyway, I'm curious, so I have a query for other artists out there: how much influence do other artists have on you on a day-to-day basis? Do you ever, for instance, poke around Yerf (or VCL or DeviantArt or whatever), just looking to see what's there? When doing so, do you ever spot something and think, "Now that's
cool, I think I'm going to try my hand at drawing that?"
Similarly, how broad or narrow are your interests in other artists' work? Do you find yourself only interested in the toony pics and skimming over realistic ones, or vice versa? Are you more interested in the subject matter than the art technique? ("I'm not real interested in this beautifully-rendered badger, but y'know I never met a skunk I didn't like.")
Or for that matter, is there one or two (or some small number) of artists that you watch constantly for whatever they put out next, while ignoring the rest?
Inquiring minds want to know!
