The theme of the day yesterday seemed to be, "I know I brought it, why can't I find it?" Toothpaste, cellphone charger, a wallet full of $250, didn't matter what it was, it would disappear down some rabbit-hole and we would spend 20 minutes frantically looking for it. This culminated in sirfox laughing like a wild man when, after I asserted that all the one dollar bills I'd collected for use at the table on Saturday had vanished from my wallet, noticed that I was in fact looking in his wallet, causing him to nearly laugh so hard he broke all the furniture.

Anyway! Sales wise the day was moderate. I sold a lot of copies of issue one, which was awesome, but had so few art requests at the table as to be practically nonexistent. The single most common reaction Rough Housing has received so far is "YOU'RE DOING A NEW COMIC???" followed by the occasional "OH MY GOD YOU'RE COMING TO ANTHROCON AGAIN???"... which really baffled me. O.o

Still, people seem to be liking the comic and happy to see it, which is a good thing. :) Today I'm going to put up some signs around the theme of "Sketches are open! Have me draw for you!" in the hopes of getting that to pick up a bit. I'm also going to make sure I have those #&*@!! chargers at the table, so I can have internet access, so I can have the scripts handy I need to do layouts for, so I can be drawing at the table regardless or not of whether I have commissions. It's like when restaurants cook food even when they don't have customers, hoping the delicious smell will lure 'em in.

On a side note: Uncle Kage told me in highly surprised (and moderately inebriated) tones that I looked younger than I had in years, which was flattering, if unexpected. :) Thanks, Kage! ^.^
