My tweets

  • Thu, 12:20: Inkygirl keeps falling asleep on me. Makes it hard to move. Or work. Or tweet.
  • Thu, 12:22: Don't encourage her, I'm trying to write! // RT @Inkblitzer: Well done my Inky sister!
  • Thu, 12:38: I am, in fact. MammaLlamaDevil used to say I had lava instead of blood. // RT @exatron: You must be made of warm.
  • Thu, 12:44: I do think Inks is a little bored without her brothers to wrassle. I have periodically stopped to play with her and keep her busy.
  • Thu, 12:52: Okay, one more selfie-with-Inks for @LadyMoonglo, then I'll stop. Promise!
  • Thu, 12:54: <3 mah kittehs. :) But you tweeps know that. ^.^'
  • Thu, 13:16: So, my story has a cop completely ignoring the need for a warrant on the grounds the person inside is a sorcerer who can obliterate them.
  • Thu, 13:17: I am now wondering how police deal with real-world situations with similar ramifications. "If we get a warrant and knock, he'll blow us up."
  • Thu, 13:18: Because, if you ignore the supernatural element, this is totes something cops must have to deal with sometimes.
  • Thu, 13:20: I think at some point I'm going to have to do a "civilian ride night" with an actual cop and pick their brains for this stuff.
  • Thu, 13:20: But for now… come up with something that sounds good and keep getting words on page!
  • Thu, 13:25: RT @LeVostreGC: Siri, wher ys the horse and the ryder?
  • Thu, 13:29: My other option, of course, is to have the cop try to take the sorcerer by the book w/ warrant and SWAT team, sorcerer blows them up.
  • Thu, 13:31: That would wreak havoc on the "subtle creepy and weird" atmosphere I've been trying to build. But it is a 'realistic' sequence of events.
  • Thu, 13:32: What it really hinges on is the personality of the cop; and her preference is following the rules. She became a cop to restore order.
  • Thu, 13:35: Dammit. Talked it over with the character, and she says, "Get a warrant." Now I've got to revise my second act. #AmWriting
  • Thu, 13:37: This also means adding more cop characters to the story; she's surely not going in without backup.
  • Thu, 13:44: Thanks for lettin' me bounce these thoughts off ya, Tweeps. :) I didn't come to the answer I wanted, but I think it's the right one anyway.
  • Thu, 13:51: RT @joanofarc96: @NaNoWriMo I'm so glad you understand, Snoopy. #truedat
  • Thu, 13:53: RT @Coffitivity: 😮 “@dgoucher: Grab 'em while they're hot (and free) @Coffitivity apps are free right now! #sounds4w
  • Thu, 14:10: Oooh, oooh! New angle! Psychic detective goes in for the bag job before the cops get the warrant, trying to keep them from getting killed!
  • Thu, 14:53: In other news, this quote I've been aching to use, turns out to be from Macbeth originally. Motif SCORE! #AmWriting
  • Thu, 15:21: RT @cargoweasel: @the_gneech Aaah! Hot potato, orchestra stalls, Puck will make amends! Don't mention the name of the Scottish Play!
  • Thu, 16:20: Here's a @NaNoWriMo question. If you go back and completely rewrite a scene, do you leave the earlier version in as part of your word count?
  • Thu, 16:28: Welp, my word count is +/- 1300 words, depending on if the part I rewrote counts. If I get at least that much above par, I'll delete it.
  • Thu, 16:39: RT @FuzzWolf2000: New 8th Doctor outfit:
  • Thu, 22:45: Big @NaNoWriMo day for me today. Even with deleting 1300 words of scene that needed to be rewritten, netted +2200 words.
  • Thu, 22:46: Also got a big whack of exposition out of the way and pretty much restructured my whole second act. So yeah. Big day.
  • Thu, 22:46: Because of the delete, didn't hit par. But I will tomorrow. Oh yes.
  • Thu, 22:46: Now, it's time for sleep in a big way. Gnite world, and have an awesome tomorrow. :)
