exhaustedTonight was fun -- got to toast ogres and nick giants into submission -- but I probably should have stood up and said, "Going home now!" when it was 1 a.m. and we were just getting to the main event.
Tonight could have gone TPK if a few dice rolls had gone differently ... as it was Camstone's paladin ended up chewing a lot of rocks and Theran's horse got eaten by a behir ("Gah!").
After all of Theran's work to become a spellsword, now I'm finding that it may be more useful to keep going with Fighter/Wizard -- d'oh! At least I can finally cast 5th level spells -- fireball and fly are now in my repertoire. Of course, the NPC wizard knocks my socks off when it comes to spellcasting, and the NPC fighter can blow the doors off me when it comes to combat ... but ... um ...
But something. I'll think of it eventually!
