Random Stuff, Plus a Bit of Ethangea

The chainmail outfits in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" were actually knitted wool painted gray. This reminds me of the fact that when I was in Camelot in high school, the chainmail was thermal underwear, painted gray. :)

We're knights of the round table!
We dance whenever we're able!
We do routines and chorus scenes
with footwork impec-cable!
We dine well here in Camelot
we eat ham and jam and Spam a lot!

We're knights of the round table!
Our shows are for-mid-able!
'though many times we're given rhymes
that are quite un-sing-able!
We're opera mad in Camelot
we sing from the diaphram a lot!

In war we're tough and able,
quite in-de-fat-i-gable.
Between our quests we sequin vests
and impersonate Clark Gable!
It's a busy life in Camelot
"I have to push the pram a lot!"

Er, on second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. 'tis a silly place. (Right.)

Ahem. Where was I?

For some reason, Micron Pigma pens of size "1" dry out way too fast, so I'm back to using a rapidograph for borders.

"Captain Crunch's Choco Donuts" leave a metallic aftertaste. Should that worry me?

The "Kingdom of the Silver Crown," Celinadon is the largest elvish nation. Far to the east, nestled at the base of the Dragonsclaw Bay, Celinadon is a bright city of white stone. The wealth of the nation is built upon silver, found in the Rambledown Mountains, and washed down the length of River Celine ("The River of the Moon"). Although relatively free of dangers from the land, Celinadon is occasionally harrassed by the sea wolves of Hybregia or pirates operating out of the Stormshelter Islands. In recent memory, only the pirate queen Karzantha herself has been bold enough to raid the city of Celinadon itself, in a startling hit-and-run raid that made off with priceless treasures from the House of Ages. It is believed that Karzantha may have had inside help ... shortly after the raid, Moorndyn, one of the curators of the House, disappeared, and is rumored to have been seen in Valthnar, looking at very expensive estates.
