In the "just myself" news, I finally got back in the saddle to speak re: the Bowflex today. The chiropractor instructed me to change my routine around some, and it's going to take me a while to get that worked out. Also, on Friday, I signed back up for Kung Fu again finally starting in November. One night/week to start with, to make sure my back can take it.
I've missed the exercise. Although I don't look much different, I can feel the muscle tone and endurance I've lost just since August, which is when the summer doldrums wreaked its havoc on my exercise routine. Still, it's only been three months, and until my back injury I had done at least one workout a week, so it should be a fairly quick recovery.
Fall/winter is when my annual cycle is at its high (biorythms aren't all new-age crockery), and I intend to take advantage of it. I got ahead on SJ today (only as far as Wednesday, but that's still ahead) and tomorrow night I'm going to do another Starbucks Scripting Session.
