Starring the Late Marilyn Monroe...

One interesting item in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is that it has a cameo appearance by Sir Laurence Olivier as the evil mastermind.

"Sir Laurence Olivier?" you may be wondering. "Isn't he dead?" Yes, he is.

Other current or fairly recent works featuring dead performers include the new "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" radio series, featuring Douglas Adams as Agrajag; "Free As a Bird" by The Beatles, with vocals by the late John Lennon; and of course the Bissel ads which featured the late Fred Astaire dancing around with a vacuum cleaner.

Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? Neither? Both? Is it just kinda creepy?
