On the other hand, there's a lot more booze and nakedness in the manga. 0.o
It's interesting that Keitaro does more genuinely foolish things in the manga, but that the women of the Hinata apartments are overall nicer to him. There is still that uncomfortable "abusive relationship" vibe about it (Keitaro is happy to be beat to a pulp by women because he's never had any other kind of attention from them in his life), but at least in the manga the women occasionally have an actual reason for being mad at him, instead of just beating the crap out of him constantly for laughs.
It's a fascinating study in how "tweaking the settings" can turn the same overall plot into two rather different stories.
