"You remind me of an Army ad," Brigid said.
"Eh?" I asked. I may be many things, but "rugged" isn't one of them.
"Yeah," she said. "You spout more drivel before 6 a.m., than most people do all day."
I rolled my eyes. "Well," I said, in the tone of a wise old uncle teaching one of life's little lessons, "you've got to go with your strengths, you know!"
